Nvidia RTX Pro 5500 Brings 84GB for Local AI

Anime & AI News

Nvidia has introduced the RTX Pro 5500 Blackwell, a professional graphics card equipped with 84GB of GDDR7 memory for demanding workplace computing. The GPU targets rack-mounted workstations running local artificial intelligence, simulation, rendering, and other intensive professional workloads. A defining feature is its ability to divide its resources into two operating partitions, allowing one physical card to support separate tasks or users more flexibly. The large memory capacity is intended for workloads that exceed ordinary desktop requirements and benefit from keeping models or complex datasets close to the processor. Nvidia is positioning the card for organizations that need concentrated Blackwell performance inside professional infrastructure, combining substantial memory, local AI capability, and more adaptable resource allocation in a single accelerator.
