Figma Introduces Specs and Expands AI Agent Design Tools
Anime & AI News
Figma has introduced Figma Specs, a Markdown-based space for teams to define design rules and give human collaborators and AI agents shared guidance. Specs documents can reference canvas elements, diagrams, code layers, and design libraries, helping generated work follow established brand and product standards. The company also opened its code layers feature to public beta, allowing teams to combine code with designs and ask agents to generate or revise interactive prototypes. Additional integrations include more than 20 tools through Figma’s model context protocol support. At its first Config event in India, Figma also outlined plans to integrate the Payload headless content management system with Figma Make, connecting generated websites with dynamic content management.
