AheadForm Unveils Humanoid Robot Head Capable of Lifelike Facial Expressions
Anime & AI News
Chinese robotics company AheadForm has unveiled a humanoid robot head capable of displaying strikingly lifelike facial expressions, stunning viewers with its natural movements, and subtle emotional range. Using self-supervised AI algorithms combined with high-degree bionic actuation, the robot can blink, glance, and react with near-human nuance. AheadForm’s “Elf series” features elf-like robots with expressive faces, movable eyes, and synchronized speech, designed to make humanβrobot interaction more intuitive and emotionally engaging. The latest model, Xuan, showcases advanced facial motion and gaze behaviors powered by ultra-quiet brushless motors for precision control. Founder Hu Yuhang predicts that within a decade, humanoid robots will interact almost like humans and eventually perform complex physical tasks, bridging the gap between emotional realism and practical robotics.
