Studio Trigger Launches “The†Lenticulars” Anime Shorts

Studio Trigger has launched “The†Lenticulars,” an original series of animated shorts debuting in Fall 2025. Directed and largely crafted by Akira Amemiya, the series promises a rapid-fire format with new episodes streaming weekly starting Friday at 3 a.m. PT. The first short, titled “Work Gloves are Gloves,” is already available on the studio’s official YouTube channel. The project showcases a distinctive animation style, bold character design, and a compact narrative structure aimed at digital platforms. Studio Trigger’s move into short-form episodic releases highlights its experimental agenda and adaptation to streaming habits. Fans of the studio’s work can expect innovative storytelling and production values presented in bite-sized format rather than traditional TV runtime.
