LG CLOiD Robot Aims to Automate Laundry and Breakfast

LG introduced CLOiD, a home robot concept designed to reduce chores through its ThinQ ecosystem. In the CES 2026 scenario, CLOiD can start a wash after you leave, return when the cycle ends, and handle the dry load by folding and stacking clothes. The other showcase is breakfast, where the robot checks the fridge and coordinates kitchen appliances so morning cooking runs as a single routine. Digital Trends frames CLOiD as more controller than companion, a moving hub with a screen, cameras, sensors, and voice-based generative AI that triggers appliance actions.
