Pokémon Pokopia Bubbly Basin DLC Launches August 5

Pokémon Pokopia will release the first part of its Expansion Pass, Bubbly Basin, on August 5 for Nintendo Switch 2. The paid downloadable content launches alongside a free update that adds the Mythical Water-type Pokémon Manaphy and the Dive move. Bubbly Basin introduces an underwater town where players can build with buoyant blocks, power streetlights and bubble machines through the Generate ability, and work with Water-specialty Pokémon to grow watermelons. The expansion also teaches players how to construct a Sharpedo submarine for exploring beneath the surface. An extended trailer previews the new setting and activities. The second Expansion Pass chapter is planned for late 2026, while the third is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2027.
