Ace Combat 8 Trailer Reveals Online Multiplayer Modes

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released an Online 101 trailer for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, previewing the game’s competitive and cooperative multiplayer options. Co-Op Assault divides eight pilots into two teams that pursue high scores across combat missions. Co-Op Warfare also uses two teams of four, but places them against each other while non-player forces complicate the battlefield. Ace Combat 8 launches on October 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam. The Deluxe Edition will arrive three days earlier on September 29. Players who preorder the game will receive Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War as a bonus. The new installment continues Bandai Namco’s long-running modern air combat series, which began with the original Ace Combat in 1992.
