Astonishia Story Remake Launches in the West on February 11

NIS America will release the enhanced Astonishia Story remake in the West on February 11, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The role-playing game originally launched in South Korea in December 2025 and reworks the 1994 MS-DOS classic with updated graphics, revised systems and modern presentation. Players follow knight Lloyd von Reuental after a sacred relic is stolen, sending him across a fantasy kingdom to recover it. Combat uses grid-based tactical battles, while additional mercenaries can be recruited to expand the party. A physical Special Edition is also planned with collectible extras including a soundtrack, art cards and an acrylic display. The remake brings one of South Korea’s early landmark RPGs to a broader international audience.
