Be Forever Yamato 3199 Film Reveals Junko Yagami Ending Theme

The seventh Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 film, Nijiiro no Rinne, has revealed its ending theme song and an accompanying music video. Junko Yagami performs “Haruka e, Eien e,” returning to the franchise after singing an ending theme for Final Yamato in 1983. The film opens in Japanese theatres on October 30 and is the final chapter in the seven-film Rebel 3199 project. Character designer Nobuteru Yuki also created a new rainbow-colored main visual for the release. Naomichi Yamato directs the remake project, while Harutoshi Fukui serves as supervising director and story lead. Crunchyroll streams the series internationally as Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199. The new chapter continues the time-spanning conflict surrounding the Yamato and its crew.
