Crazy Taxi: World Tour Trailer Previews Multiplayer

Sega revealed a new Crazy Taxi: World Tour trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live, giving the clearest look yet at the game’s multiplayer. The new entry is scheduled for 2027 on Xbox Series systems, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. Sega also states on the game’s Steam page that generative AI support tools were used during development to assist developers, while specifying that no AI was used in reference to the game’s performers. Crazy Taxi first launched in arcades in 1999 before arriving on Dreamcast in 2000 and spawning sequels, ports, and mobile spin-offs. World Tour is part of Sega’s broader effort to revive classic properties for current platforms and audiences.
