EAT-MAN The Over Order Anime Announced

A new anime adaptation of Akihito Yoshitomi’s science fiction action manga EAT-MAN has been announced under the title EAT-MAN The Over Order. Studio Cab is producing the series, with Shunji Oga directing, Yoshitomi providing scripts and design drafts, and Satoshi Hirayama handling character designs. Masashi Ebara will return as protagonist Bolt Crank, reprising the role he performed in the original 1997 adaptation. No release date was confirmed, but the announcement included both a video and a teaser visual. The manga originally ran from 1996 to 2003 across 19 collected volumes, followed years later by the sequel Eat-Man: The Main Dish. Earlier anime adaptations aired in 1997 and 1998, establishing Bolt’s unusual ability to consume objects and later reproduce them intact.
