Fate/Extra Record Sets January 28 Release Date

Fate/Extra Record will launch on January 28 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC through Steam. Aniplex revealed the date in a new trailer that also previews gameplay and story from Type-Moon studio BB’s remake of the 2010 PSP role-playing game. The project has faced several delays and publishing changes, with Aniplex now handling publication. A physical Limited Edition will include a three-disc soundtrack, SteelBook case and artbook, while the Digital Deluxe Edition adds arranged music, character outfits, digital soundtrack and artbook content. Character designer Arco Wada returns for the remake. Fate/Extra takes place in an alternate science-fiction branch of the wider Fate universe, and Record rebuilds that Holy Grail War setting for current platforms after years of development.
