Final Fantasy Resonance Demo Launches as Sephiroth Appears

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance, revealing Sephiroth as a boss and confirming that a playable demo is now available. The HD-2D offline RPG launches October 22 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. Resonance reworks the first story arc of the discontinued Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile game as a standalone console-style adventure. The plot follows Rain and Lasswell after the Earth Crystal is shattered by Veritas of the Dark, sending them on a journey with the mysterious Fina to protect the remaining crystals. The game includes Japanese and English voices, multiple editions and familiar Final Fantasy elements while translating Brave Exvius characters, environments and battles into Square Enix’s modern HD-2D presentation.
