Gundam: Rogue Orbit Launches March 5 With New Gameplay

Gundam: Rogue Orbit will launch on March 5, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam. New footage released around PlayStation’s September State of Play shows more combat and customization, including weapon types, Tactical Skills and a skin based on the RX-78-2 Gundam. The game takes place in year 135 of the After Apocalypse timeline, where a self-proliferating ecosystem known as the Apocalypse devastated humanity’s period of prosperity and forced people away from Earth. Player character RE-X pilots the Gundam Helix and travels with an intelligent Haro companion named VII. The same setting is shared with the announced Mobile Suit Gundam RG: XARX-ZERO anime, which takes place earlier in A.A. 45. The latest presentation further connects the game to that new Gundam continuity.
