Josemaru Second Teaser Reveals Cast and Staff

Josemaru unveiled its second teaser, a new visual, lead voice actor, and additional staff before its January 2027 premiere. Riho Tsuda voices Josemaru, a living dog plush character described as zero years old and created around the idea of a tiny creature existing in reality. Creator Inochi-ya directs the anime. Mai Narushima handles character design, Yuika Shiraishi creates sound effects, and Risa Satosaki manages series scripts while also serving as production producer. Flow Entertainment is credited for music and animation production, with Animi handling planning and production. Stop-motion work is assigned to Rikuto Konagaya and Hiroki Ito of dwarf studios. The short will air Sundays at 10:00 a.m. JST through TV Asahi’s new PicoAni programming block.
