Kagurabachi Casts Yuichi Nakamura as Soshiro Azami

Kagurabachi has announced Yuichi Nakamura as the voice of Soshiro Azami, a Kamunabi leader, alongside a new character trailer and visual. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2027 and will stream on Crunchyroll. Tetsuya Takeuchi directs the adaptation at CyPic, with Keigo Sasaki handling character designs. The series adapts Takeru Hokazono’s Weekly Shonen Jump manga, which began serialization in September 2023 and has reached 12 collected volumes in Japan. The story follows Chihiro Rokuhira, a young swordsman seeking revenge after his swordsmith father is killed and six powerful enchanted blades are stolen. His pursuit brings him into conflict with the Hishaku, a dangerous group of sorcerers tied to the attack. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English.
