Link Click Live-Action Drama Announced Starring Taiki Sato and Kanata Hongo

Japanese broadcasters Tokai TV and Fuji TV have officially announced a live-action drama adaptation of the hit donghua Link Click. The series will star Taiki Sato and Kanata Hongo in the lead roles, portraying the supernatural mystery duo Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, whose work at Time Photo Studio allows them to enter photographs and revisit past moments. The live-action project is a co-production involving Chinese streamer Bilibili and Japanese TV, and will begin broadcasting on April 11th, 2026. Fans of the original animated series are anticipating how the transition to live drama will interpret the story’s time-bending narrative.
