Made in Abyss Film Trailer Reveals New Cast and Theme

Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi, the first film in a new trilogy, unveiled a trailer, additional cast members, and its theme song. Sumire Morohoshi joins as Tepaste and Takanori Hoshino voices Cravagli. The trailer previews Chain of the Abyss, composed by returning series musician Kevin Penkin and featuring Mori Calliope. The film opens in Japan on October 23. Mariya Ise, Miyu Tomita, Shiori Izawa, and Misaki Kuno return as Reg, Riko, Nanachi, and Faputa. Masayuki Kojima is again directing at Kinema Citrus, Hideyuki Kurata handles scripts, and Kazuchika Kise and Yuka Kuroda return as character designers. The project continues the Made in Abyss anime following The Golden City of the Scorching Sun and expands the franchise with a theatrical film series.
