MAPPA And Kenshi Yonezu Release Karasu Short Anime Music Video

Kenshi Yonezu’s new track Karasu has received a short anime music video produced by MAPPA. The song, released earlier in June, also serves as NHK’s 2026 soccer theme. The new video leans into pencil artwork, matching the song’s references to the world of manga, and arrives alongside the wider digital rollout of Karasu across streaming and download platforms including Spotify, the iTunes Store and YouTube Music. Crunchyroll links the collaboration to Yonezu’s official YouTube channel, framing the release as both a music promotion and an animation showcase. The result brings together a major anime studio, one of Japan’s most recognizable singer-songwriters and a national sports theme at a high-visibility moment.
