Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction Anime Reveals Trailer, Cast, Key Visual and April 5 Premiere

The romantic comedy TV anime Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction has revealed a new trailer, key visual, main cast, and its premiere date of April 5th, 2026. The series is animated by Studio LEO and will broadcast on Tokyo MX and other networks, with a preview streaming on AnimeFesta from March 13th. The story follows Kanata Kitami, voiced by Kohei Amasaki, who gains the ability to see love meter indicators above people’s heads after a wish to understand others’ feelings. Marika Chitose, voiced by Maaya Uchida, is his childhood friend and romantic interest. Other cast members include Ayasa Ito, Yurie Igoma, and Rie Kugimiya.
