My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked Casts Yo Taichi as Riru

Yo Taichi has joined the cast of My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked as Riru Kazan, a classmate of protagonist Miya Nakamura. The character will debut in the anime’s fifth episode. A new episode preview introduces Riru ahead of the broadcast. The series premiered on July 8 and airs across several Japanese television networks while streaming through domestic services and the It’s Anime YouTube channel. Keisuke Inoue directs the adaptation at NEWON, with Nanami Hoshino handling series scripts and Mutsumi Sasaki designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Lia performs the opening theme, while AVAM performs the ending. Otsuji’s original comedy manga reverses Cinderella expectations by giving Miya a kind and affectionate stepfamily instead of cruel new relatives.
