Nabe ni Tama o Ukenagara Food Travel Manga Sets 2027 Anime

Nabe ni Tama o Ukenagara, also known as Getting Shots on a Frying Pan, is heading to anime in 2027. The official accounts confirmed that J.C.Staff will animate the adaptation of the manga by writer Juntaro Aoki and artist Shin Moriyama. A teaser visual and a comment from Aoki accompanied the announcement. The manga began on Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website in 2021, has five physical volumes in Japan and recently gained a 2026 spin-off titled Nabe ni Tama o Ukenagara Transit. Crunchyroll describes the series as a non-fiction food travel story about Juntaro visiting dangerous places around the world to taste and review local cuisine, with all characters portrayed as women due to the lead’s brain rot.
