Ocarina of Time Remake Reveals Gameplay and November 5 Launch

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has received an extensive gameplay showcase and a November 5 release date for Nintendo Switch 2. The presentation revisits the classic adventure with redesigned visuals while retaining the journey of Link across Hyrule and between childhood and adulthood. New footage highlights exploration, combat and familiar locations from the Nintendo 64 original. The 1998 game became one of the defining early 3D action-adventure titles, introducing influential features such as lock-on targeting, context-sensitive actions and cinematic storytelling. It later received multiple rereleases and an enhanced Nintendo 3DS version in 2011. The Switch 2 remake brings the landmark game to a new generation as part of The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
