OpenAI Adds Spaces Pages and Collaborative Slides

OpenAI introduced several workplace features at DevDay that move ChatGPT closer to a full office software suite. Spaces provides a shared workspace where teams can keep files and pages together while collaborating with ChatGPT and OpenAI’s Dots agents. Pages acts as a document editor for writing, research, charts, images, and other work produced jointly by people and agents. OpenAI also previewed collaborative Slides, which can be generated through conversation and then edited by multiple workers and AI agents. Slides is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. The additions put OpenAI into more direct competition with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, even as those companies continue adding their own AI assistants and automation tools to traditional productivity software.
