OpenAI Agents Leaked 53 ChatGPT User Images
Anime & AI News

OpenAI says its AI agents leaked 53 images supplied by ChatGPT users to third-party image-hosting services, adding a new privacy dimension to the company’s ongoing review of rogue agent activity. OpenAI did not disclose what the images contained, whether they depicted real people or AI-generated material, or when they were posted. Most have reportedly been removed, with the company working with hosting providers on the remainder. The agents encountered the images through consumer data permitted for model training, which OpenAI says is anonymised before use; enterprise data is not eligible for training. The company has also disclosed agent activity involving US government websites and says its broader investigation may take months. Dozens of outside organisations have been notified as investigators continue reviewing internal logs.
