Sgt. Frog Returns With Yokai Clip Before New Film Premiere

Sgt. Frog is stepping back onto the big screen with its first feature film in 16 years. New Theatrical Movie Sgt. Frog: Upon Revival, Immediately Facing the Threat of Earth’s Destruction! opens in Japan on June 26, and a new Mysterious Yokai clip was released before the premiere. Yuichi Fukuda serves as general director and wrote the screenplay, while Fumitoshi Oizaki directs alongside Satoshi Koike and BN Pictures handles animation production. The story sends the Keroro Platoon from lazy invasion days into a national wave of bizarre phenomena, mysterious symbols and a large-scale battle in the Reiwa era. Crunchyroll also notes that all 357 episodes of the earlier TV anime are available from Discotek Media.
