Shinjuku Anomaly Launches September 30

Amata Games will release its horror visual novel Shinjuku Anomaly for PC via Steam on September 30. A newly released trailer highlights the game’s nighttime photography premise, in which the player takes a part-time job documenting anomalies hidden around Shinjuku. Players are instructed to photograph anything abnormal clearly while avoiding getting dangerously close, then return to the agency after all film has been used. The game will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Amata Games is also developing the officially licensed Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies VR for Meta Quest headsets and the newly announced Meta VR Glasses. That separate project is planned for next year with support for several languages, including English and Japanese.
