Student Council Anime Casts Miyu Tomita as Komaro

Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! has cast Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, the student council’s general affairs representative. The announcement arrived with a third character trailer and a new visual devoted to Komaro. The television anime adaptation of Muchimaro’s slice-of-life comedy manga is scheduled to premiere in October 2026. Naoyuki Tatsuwa directs the series at Studio Passione, with Masahiro Yokotani handling series composition and Ryo Imamura designing the characters. Tatsuwa and Imamura previously worked on the animated promotional video that drew widespread attention in 2024. The story follows Mizunoe Ume, who joins his school’s unusually chaotic student council to avoid repeating a grade and becomes entangled with its eccentric, troublesome, and unexpectedly endearing members.
