Suikoden Anime Reveals New Visual for October Broadcast

Suikoden: The Anime unveiled a new key visual ahead of its planned October 2026 television broadcast. The adaptation draws from Konami’s Suikoden II role-playing game and follows Riliu and Jowy, childhood friends serving in the Highland Kingdom’s youth brigade. Their shared future collapses when war forces them onto separate paths and places immense power within their reach. YUZO directs the project at KONAMI animation, with Michihiro Tsuchiya handling series composition, Ryo Yamauchi designing the characters, and Koji Nakamura composing the music. The visual emphasizes the conflict surrounding the two leads and the 108 Stars of Destiny, a central motif inherited from the game. Konami Digital Entertainment is producing the series as a major new screen adaptation of the long-running fantasy franchise.
