Suis Releases The Cat and the Dragon Opening MV

Suis from Yorushika has released a music video for Nekojitsu, also translated as Catdays, the opening theme for The Cat and the Dragon. The song became available digitally on July 17 and features lyrics by Suis with composition and arrangement by singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani. Suis said the track reflects the warmth of the fantasy story and her affection for cats. The television anime premiered in Japan on July 4 and is streaming through Crunchyroll. Jin-Koo Oh directs the adaptation at OLM, with Mitsutaka Hirota handling series composition, Rie Nishino and Chiaki Kurakazu designing the characters, and Takahiro Obata composing the score. The story follows an orphaned dragon raised by magic-wielding cats who gradually reconsiders his distrust of humans while protecting his adoptive family.
