Talentless Sage Anime Adds Three Cast Members

From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage announced three additional cast members. Shinichiro Kamio voices Abe, Rina Kawaguchi plays Maria, and Hiroki Takahashi voices Genie. The fantasy series adapts Arata Shiraishi’s light novels, which began online in 2018 before Kadokawa launched a print edition illustrated by Uodenim in 2019. A manga adaptation by Kentarou followed later that year. Hisashi Ishii directs the television anime at EMT Squared, with Deko Akao overseeing series composition, Hideki Furukawa handling character designs, and Takaaki Nakahashi composing the music. Crunchyroll streams the series, whose story follows the great sage Ephtal after he is reborn 400 years later with his memories and power, entering a magic academy in an era where ancient sorcery has faded.
