Tank Chair Anime Casts Megumi Ogata as Sensei

Bandai Namco Filmworks has released the second main promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Manabu Yashiro’s Tank Chair manga. The update also confirms Megumi Ogata as Sensei, the feared founder of the Academy and an absolute ruler defined by overwhelming power. Ogata is scheduled to appear at an advance screening at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas on September 24. The anime will premiere on October 4 on Tokyo MX before airing on BS11 and other Japanese channels. SiM performs the opening theme DALALA, while Daoko performs the ending theme SYNC. The new trailer offers another look at the series’ violent action and unusual central concept ahead of broadcast. Based on Yashiro’s manga, Tank Chair follows a deadly world where combat, assassination, and a wheelchair-bound fighter collide, with Sensei positioned as one of the adaptation’s most threatening figures.
