The Detective is Already Dead Season 2 Reveals New Trailer and Cast

The Detective is Already Dead Season 2 has released another trailer and announced two additional voice cast members before its October 7, 2026 Japanese broadcast. Akari Komiyama joins as Mia Whitlock and Nobuhiko Okamoto voices Scarlet, with both characters appearing in the latest promotional footage. The second season had originally been scheduled for July before being postponed to October. Returning cast members include Arata Nagai as Kimihiko Kimizuka, Saki Miyashita as Siesta, Ayana Taketatsu as Nagisa Natsunagi and Kanon Takao as Yui Saikawa. Manabu Kurihara returns as director at ENGI, Deko Akao oversees series composition and Yosuke Ito handles character design. The new trailer continues the mystery-action tone while introducing figures expected to shape the next stage of Kimihiko’s story.
