The Eminence in Shadow Gets First Console Game in 2027

The Eminence in Shadow is receiving its first dedicated console game with The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes, scheduled for release in 2027. The first trailer debuted during Sony’s September State of Play. Phantom Echoes is described as a single-player roguelite action game and will launch for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The footage introduces the project’s combat-driven approach while bringing the light novel and anime franchise into a new platform category. The original story by Daisuke Aizawa began online before Enterbrain published it in print with illustrations by Tozai, followed by manga and anime adaptations. The game will arrive in the same year as The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes anime film, giving the franchise multiple major releases planned for 2027.
