Vampire Princess Miyu Blu-ray Packaging Gets Approved Artwork

MediaOCD says the packaging for its upcoming Vampire Princess Miyu Blu-ray release has now been approved by licensors, replacing the previously announced blank packaging with new artwork. Founder Justin Sevakis said inserts are being reprinted and re-shrink-wrapped, disc labels are being re-silkscreened, and slipcovers are also being reprinted. The company aims to finish the revised materials by the end of September and expects orders to ship by the first week of October. The four-episode OVA release will include HD video, English subtitles, both the U.K. and U.S. English dubs, and a store-exclusive slipcover. MediaOCD thanked Pony Canyon and AMG for assisting with approval. The release remains exclusive to MediaOCD’s store, while its license is expected to expire next spring.
