Yamato Rebel 3199 Teaser Revives Classic Ending Song

A new teaser for the seventh and final Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 film previews the chapter with Akira Fuse’s song Ai Yo Sono Hi Made. The track originally served as the ending theme for the 1980 film Be Forever Yamato, directly reconnecting the remake project with its source film. The concluding chapter is titled Rainbow-Colored Reincarnation and will begin screening in Japan on October 30, 2026. Rebel 3199 has been released as seven theatrical chapters, with the sixth chapter, The Azure Labyrinth, opening on June 26. The project continues the modern Space Battleship Yamato remake timeline while adapting material associated with the original Be Forever Yamato story. The teaser therefore pairs the approaching finale with one of the franchise’s established songs.
