A Glimpse of What’s to Come in Record of Ragnarok III

At Anime NYC, Netflix thrilled fans by releasing trailers for Blue Eye Samurai season 2, Devil May Cry season 2, and Record of Ragnarok III, with some claiming the lineup could outshine Arcane. Unlike the others, Record of Ragnarok’s third season already has two trailers, teasing the fiery continuation of humanity’s desperate clashes against gods. Creator Takumi Fukui expressed excitement about translating iconic manga battles to screen, promising familiar characters and high-stakes duels. While the release format remains unclear, the series is slated to begin streaming in December 2025, possibly rolling weekly into 2026. With its epic scale and fan-favorite combat faithfully recreated, Record of Ragnarok III aims to expand the show’s devoted following while anchoring Netflix’s ambitious anime slate.
