After 7+ Years, Short Series 22/7 – The Diary of Our Days Gets Ninth Episode

After more than seven years, the short anime series 22/7 – The Diary of Our Days has returned with a ninth episode, released in August 2025. The new no-dialogue entry focuses on Miu Takigawa, coinciding with the graduation of her voice actor and idol counterpart, Nagomi Saijo, from the 22/7 group. The short was first shown at Saijo’s graduation concert. Director Shin Wakabayashi (Wonder Egg Priority) and character designer Yukiko Horiguchi (K-On!) reprise their roles, with Yusuke Kawakami (The Elusive Samurai) as unit director and Shota Umehara (Bocchi the Rock!) as animation producer at CloverWorks. The series began in 2017 as part of Sony Music and Aniplex’s idol project. Following Saijo’s departure, 22/7 continues with eight active members.
