Moon Flower Kingdom Anime Spotlights Koyou and Keiun

The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom has released separate character trailers for central leads Koyou and Keiun. Rina Hidaka voices Koyou, while Takeo Otsuka plays Prince Keiun in the upcoming adaptation of Toru Himuka’s shojo manga. Koichiro Kuroda directs at Studio Elle, with Aki Mizuki handling series composition, Akira Ono designing the characters and Shiho Terada composing the music. The story takes place in a kingdom where superstition dominates medicine until Keiun witnesses Koyou perform an unfamiliar lifesaving procedure after his party is attacked. Their meeting draws the pair into royal intrigue, assassination attempts, medical mysteries and romance. A premiere date has not yet been announced, but the new videos introduce the contrasting personalities at the centre of the historical fantasy drama.
