The Moon on a Rainy Night Reveals Subtitled Trailer and Main Cast

The Moon on a Rainy Night has debuted a new promotional trailer introducing the two leads of its 2027 television adaptation. Iori Saeki voices Saki Kindaichi and Sora Amamiya voices Kanon Oikawa; an additional subtitled version of the preview has been released by REMOW. The anime adapts Kuzushiro’s manga about Saki, who meets Kanon before high school and later discovers that the mysterious girl is her classmate. Kanon is hard of hearing and initially avoids close relationships, but the two gradually connect through Saki’s persistence and empathy. Tomoe Makino directs the anime at CompTown, Shogo Yasukawa handles series composition, Ayumi Nishibata designs the characters, and the instrumental band Jizue composes the music. The manga has been serialised since June 2021 and is published in English by Kodansha USA.
