Google Labs Introduces Prompt-Based Game Creator Playground
Anime & AI News
Google Labs introduced Playground, an experimental platform that lets adults create playable browser games using text prompts. Users can choose genres such as racing or trivia, specify two-dimensional or three-dimensional presentation, and describe mechanics and visual style without writing code. They can also upload images to convert into game assets. Projects can remain private, be shared through a link or appear in a public gallery, with some games supporting leaderboards. The platform works across desktop and mobile browsers. Google says a future update could connect Playground to Unity Spark for additional three-dimensional capabilities. The experiment initially targets users aged 18 and older in the United States. Game generation uses a weekly token allowance, with additional capacity available through subscription tiers.
