Japanese Game & Manga Artists Celebrate Back to the Future 40th Anniversary with New Illustrations

To mark the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, ten leading Japanese video-game and manga artists created new tribute illustrations re-imagining the franchise in unique styles. The participating creators include legends from both industries, each bringing a fresh visual spin to the iconic imagery of Marty McFly, the DeLorean, and time travel themes. The project is part of a special celebration timed for the anniversary and tied to events like Tokyo Comic Con 2025, and will see limited-edition merchandise and exhibits showcasing the collaboration. Fans of both pop culture and illustration are excited to see how these Japanese creatives reinterpret a Western cinematic classic with their own stylistic flair.
