Airi Taira Joins Doraemon Film as Promotional Ambassador and Guest Voice Actor

Japanese actor Airi Taira has joined Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the New Castle of the Undersea Devil as both a promotional ambassador and guest voice actor. The announcement was made via the official social media account for the Doraemon anime film series. Taira, known for her role as Kanna Endo in the live-action 20th Century Boys films, will make her first anime voice acting appearance as an underwater soldier who pursues Doraemon, Nobita, and their friends. The upcoming movie is the 45th entry in the Doraemon feature film series and is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on February 27th, 2026. The film, directed by Tetsuo Yajima and written by Isao Murayama, revisits the undersea kingdoms of Mu and Atlantis.
