Frieren Anime Gets Massive Shibuya Station Sign Ahead of Season 2

A special large signboard advertisement for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is now on display in the underground concourse of Shibuya Station on the Tokyu Den-​en​Doshi Line. The display marks the upcoming start of the second season of the anime, which will premiere on January 16th, 2026, at 11 PM on Nippon Television’s nationwide Friday anime block. The massive horizontal signage features a special video unique to this installation, available only at the station. The advertisement will remain on display from January 12th to 18th, 2026, and visitors are reminded to watch while taking care not to disrupt other commuters or impede foot traffic. This campaign celebrates the return of the popular fantasy series with Frieren continuing her quest with her young friends.
