Anthropic Introduces Claude Haiku 4.5

Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 4.5, a lightweight model offering near-state-of-the-art coding and reasoning performance at one-third the cost and more than twice the speed of Claude Sonnet 4. Designed for real-time applications like customer support and pair programming, Haiku 4.5 delivers rapid, intelligent responses and improved prompt adherence. It can work alongside larger models, such as Sonnet 4.5, which can orchestrate multiple Haikus to solve complex tasks in parallel. Safety testing shows it to be Anthropic’s most aligned model yet, with the lowest rates of concerning behaviors, earning an AI Safety Level 2 classification. Available via the Claude API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI, Haiku 4.5 enables faster, cost-efficient, and secure AI-assisted development.
