Apothecary Diaries Film Adds Miyuki Sawashiro and Ai Mikami

TOHO animation has released a new character promotional video for The Apothecary Diaries: The Late Lady’s Treasure, introducing Miyuki Sawashiro as Ruoqing and Ai Mikami as Yinshan. Ruoqing was a palace courtesan who died five years earlier, leaving instructions for her remains to return home, while Yinshan once served her and now assists the Bi clan. The film tells an original story by novelist Hyuganatsu, following Maomao and Jinshi into an investigation involving a deceased concubine, pirates, hidden treasure, and a mysterious boy. It opens in Japanese cinemas on December 11. Other cast members include Mariya Ise as Mu Qing and Nobuo Tobita as the head of the Bi clan. Crunchyroll has acquired distribution rights across much of the world outside Asia.
