Bushiroad Unveils ZERO RISE Anime and Stage Play Media Mix Project

Bushiroad has announced ZERO RISE, a new media mix project centered on the theme of dropouts and basketball. The project will feature both an anime and a stage play, with production already underway. ZERO RISE follows young men who have stepped away from organized basketball for various reasons but seek redemption through the underground league known as Zero Rise. A newly released character trailer introduces the competing teams, their players, and the actors involved, who will both voice their roles in the anime and portray them on stage. The stage play is scheduled to run from May 2nd to May 17th, 2026, at Tokyo’s Airship Theater. The project originates from Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani.
