Classroom of Demi-Humans: New Autumn Visual for January 2026 Debut

The upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans has unveiled a new autumn-themed key visual, teasing its arrival in January 2026. The story follows human teacher Rei Hitoma, a self-proclaimed misanthrope who takes a job at a remote mountain school only to discover his students are demi-humans seeking to become fully human. Through everyday classroom situations he is challenged to rethink his cynicism as his unusual pupils grow. The visual captures fall leaves drifting past the school building, hinting at themes of change and transformation. Produced by studio Asread, with direction by Akira Iwanaga, the series promises a whimsical slice-of-life grounded in character growth.
