Detective Conan Celebrates 30 Years with New Textless Openings and Endings

Detective Conan marks 30 years since its anime debut in January 1996 with new creditless opening and ending videos released to celebrate the milestone. The updated visuals bring back classic theme sequences without text, so fans can enjoy the animation and music unobstructed. This celebration builds on the franchise’s ongoing festivities, which include special episodes, curated streaming selections, and homage to original themes from earlier in the series’ run. The anniversary marks the long history of the mystery anime, which continues weekly and has surpassed 1,000 episodes worldwide. Fans are revisiting beloved songs, such as the original opening and ending themes, in remastered formats and enjoying renewed attention to the series’ legacy. More anniversary content and tributes are expected throughout 2026.
