HarumakiGohan Releases Doppelgänger Anime Music Video with Hatsune Miku

Vocaloid producer and illustrator HarumakiGohan released an animated music video for Doppelgänger, featuring Hatsune Miku vocals, on January 25, 2026. It is the first song from Onee-chan Gokko, a new project about sisters Akane and Sui and a village with a legend of doubles. HarumakiGohan said the song considers the doppelganger’s feelings. HarumakiGohan directed the video and contributed animation and background art, while Studio Gohan handled animation production. The wider project was planned to last about a year and tentatively include three 25-minute anime episodes. Erika Miyazaki voices younger sister Akane, and VSinger Isekaijoucho voices Sui. The episodes were announced for HarumakiGohan’s YouTube channel, niconico, and bilibili, following a January teaser.
